The total annual passenger traffic volume neared 42.72 million trips, down by 53% over the previous year. The railway passenger flows down by 20% to over 10.94 million trips; the road passenger flows decreased by 59.3% to 31.18 million trips; waterway passenger flows shrank by 59.6% to 27,800 trips; and, passenger trips by civil aviation increased by 1.4% to 564,000 trips.

The number of motor vehicles for civilian use in the city amounted to 711,300 by the end of 2020, growing by 10.1% over the same period of last year. The number of newly registered vehicles in 2020 decreased by 12.4% year on year to 64,600.

The total mileage of roads reached 20,600 km, including 487 km of expressway.

The post and telecommunications witnessed a relatively rapid growth. The turnover of postal services neared 2.5 billion yuan, up 33.8%, and telecommunication services exceeded 36.1 billion yuan, up 30.4%. By the end of 2020, there were 824,700 fixed-line telephone users, up 1%; 5.07 million mobile phone users, increasing by 1.2%; and, about 1.575 million broadband users, growing by 9.7%.

The total number of tourists was over 57.92 million in 2020, decreasing by 15.6%. The tourism revenue totaled about 57.93 billion yuan, down 12.9%. A total of 19,900 inbound trips were received, shrinking by 95.3%, and making a foreign exchange earnings of 8.267 million US dollars, down 95.2%.
