Yueyang Promotes Modern Logistics in Hong Kong
Yueyang held the Investment Promotion Conference of Modern Logistics Innovative Development Pilot City in Hong Kong on April 26. Seven projects worth 42.4 billion yuan were signed.
The conference was presided over by Xiong Wei, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee. It was attended by Hunan Vice Governor He Baoxiang, Director of Administration Committee of Yueyang Economic and Technological Development Zone Xie Chunsheng, and more than 100 directors of related institutions and enterprise representatives.
Yueyang Mayor Liu Hesheng addressed the conference. Vice Mayor Qiu Hong introduced the projects available for investment.

12 Bln Tourism Project Signed at Hunan-Hong Kong Trade Fair

The project of the Dongting Lake & Nanhu Lake International Cultural Leisure Town was contracted at a talkfest between Hunan and Hong Kong industrial and commercial leaders in Hong Kong on April 25, 2017.
It was one of Yueyang¡¯s 17 provincial projects promoted at the event, and also Yueyang¡¯s first project signed at 2017 Hunan (Hong Kong) Investment & Trade Promotion Week (or Hunan-Hong Kong Trade Fair).
Mayor Liu Hesheng attended the signing ceremony.
The project will include a tourism and culture-oriented street, a science aquarium, a water-themed amusement park, and a five-starred resort hotel.
Inheriting Yueyang¡¯s traditional Baling culture and with recreation as the core, the project will be built into a tourism product featuring leisure and entertainment.

Yueyang Delegation Visits Hong Kong Enterprises
A Yueyang delegation led by Mayor Liu Hesheng visited Deloitte and Hengfu Financial Group in Hong Kong on April 25, 2017, during their attending of the 2017 Hunan (Hong Kong) Investment &Trade Promotion Week (or Hunan-Hong Kong Trade Fair) which is taking place from April 25 to 29.
The delegation held talks with the two firms to further promote exchanges and cooperation between Yueyang and Hong Kong.

Yueyang to Attend Hunan (Hong Kong) Investment & Trade Promotion Week 2017
The 196 projects worth 281.095 billion yuan cover the areas of modern service, infrastructure, new industrialization, agricultural industrialization, and industrial park construction. 22 projects are planned to be contracted, with a total investment of 21.67 billion yuan.
The Dongting Lake & Nanhu Lake International Cultural Leisure Town, a 12-billion-yuan project proposed by the Yueyang government, will be signed during a Hunan-Hong Kong businessmen meeting on April 25.
On April 26, Yueyang will hold an investment promotion conference on Yueyang (Hong Kong) Modern Logistics Innovation Development Pilot Cites to showcase modern logistics and petrochemical projects.
Before the events, Yueyang had sent delegations to visit well-known Hong Kong-based enterprises in advance, and promote the city¡¯s investment attraction activities for mutual cooperation.
During the Investment and Trade Week, Yueyang delegation will introduce Yueyang¡¯s investment environment and policies to Hong Kong enterprises in a one-to-one way, in order to attract more investment.
