Yueyang Folk Arts and Crafts Exhibition Kicks off

The Yueyang Folk Arts and Crafts Exhibition, themed “CPC Centenary - Building Dreams Together”, opened on June 25, 2021, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. It was supported by the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee Publicity Department, and hosted by the Yueyang Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Yueyang Folk Literature and Art Association. CPPCC Yueyang Municipal Committee Vice Chairman Kong Fujian announced its opening.

Nearly 100 masterpieces created by more than 50 folk craftsmen in Yueyang City were displayed at the exhibition. They were chosen by the Yueyang Folk Literature and Art Association after a long period of planning, organization, review, and selection, and have attracted numerous visitors.

The exhibition is not only a concentrated display of the fine arts and crafts of Yueyang folk literature and art circles, but also the Yueyang masters’ wishes to eulogize the Party, the motherland, the people, and the new era. It is an art gift to the centenary of the Communist Party of China. The exhibition will last for one month and will provide an exquisite visual feast of folk art.
