3rd Linxiang Canola Flower Festival

The 3rd Linxiang Canola Flower Festival kicked off at Jiangnan Town on March 11. Tens of thousands of tourists were attracted to enjoy the nature’s beauty of 20,000-mu golden canola flowers fields. The festival will last till the end of March.

At the opening ceremony, a cheongsam show and a Jiangnan streamed dishes tasting were held. Ten internet celebrities were invited to promote canola flowers.

The festival was hosted by the CPC Linxiang Municipal Committee and the People’s Government of Linxiang City.

Linxiang City has invested eight million yuan in infrastructure construction and promotion since the first canola flower festival was launched in 2017. The festival has attracted many tourists from Wuhan, Changsha, and surrounding areas of Yueyang. Yueyang City has seen a boom in local products, catering, and B&Bs. Now the canola flower festival has become an important calling card for Linxiang’s all-for-one tourism development.
