First Hunan (Yueyang) Port Economic and Trade Expo

Recently the first work conference of the secretariat of the first Hunan (Yueyang) Port Economic and Trade Expo was held. It announced that the first Hunan (Yueyang) Port Economic and Trade Expo will be held in Chenglingji New Port Area in October, 2020. The decision was made by the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee, and the Yueyang Municipal People’s Government. The event aims to give full play to Yueyang’s location and port advantages, to promote the city’s opening-up and development to a higher level and drive the growth of Hunan port economy.

Themed “thriving port economy promotes opening up”, the expo will be provisionally arranged between October 28 (Wednesday) and November 8 (Sunday). A variety of activities will be held, including opening ceremony; forums on port economic and trade development, China-Europe freight trains, airport freight transportation, and shipping ports; and, industrial projects inspection tour at Chenglingji New Port Area. 

The Hunan Provincial Business Service Center is established to handle routine work, including overall planning, preparations, and organization work during the expo.
