Painting Exhibition of Rebin Academy of Fine Arts

The painting exhibition tour of the Russian Repin Academy of Fine Arts entered its fifth leg in Yueyang on July 1, 2019. 


Fang Quansheng, director of the Non-government Funded Education Office of the Yueyang Education and Sports Bureau, Li Zhanqin, chairman of the Yueyang Association of Arts, and many art amateurs attended the opening ceremony.  


It displays nearly 100 painting works by Chinese painters who have studied in the Russian Rebin Academy of Fine Arts, including Cao Chunsheng, Su Gaoli, Wang Tieniu, Gu Zong, Sun Tao, Ye Nan, Wang Shaolun, and Huang Yuanpeng. The paintings are on various themes and of different styles.

The Repin Academy of Fine Art is one of the world’s four famous fine arts institutions, and Russia’s premier of its kind. It has cultivated such prominent realistic painting masters such as I. E. Repin, and V. I. Surikov, as well as Chinese artists Li Tianxiang, Zhao Youping, Quan Shanshi, Sun Huanhuan, and Liu Kaihai.
It will open to the public free of charge until July 5.
