On November 15, the first phase of Amer Miluo Renewable Resources Industrial Base Project-the launching ceremony of 100,000-ton precision copper wires and the completion ceremony of a workshop with 250,000-ton high-quality copper rod were held in Miluo High-tech Zone. Vice Governor Xie Weijiang announced the completion of the workshop and the project is put into production.

Amer International Group¡¯s new metal materials is among the top of the world. It is known as the "Copper King of the World", with a turnover of more than 700 billion yuan in 2020. The group ranked 68th among Fortune Global 500 in 2021. The Miluo Renewable Resource Industrial Base Project is the first renewable resource recycling project of Amer International Group and the first "digital" renewable resource green and low-carbon recycling industrial base project in China. The total investment of the project is 10.05 billion yuan. The project focuses on the recycling of recycled copper, anode plates, precision copper wires, copper supply chain, copper industry smart industrial park and other sectors, to create a complete comprehensive service system for recycled non-ferrous metals. The first phase of the project has an investment of 1.9 billion yuan. The major products will cover high-quality copper rods, precision copper wires and other new copper-based materials. The production capacity will be 250,000 tons, and the annual output value will be 15 billion yuan.

Adhering to the concept of "green, low carbon, high efficiency, and low consumption", the project uses environmentally friendly materials, natural gas, and photovoltaic power for the buildings. Technically, it adopts China¡¯s most advanced and Hunan¡¯s first fully automated vertical furnace continuous casting and rolling production line, and man-machine integration and automatic identification of process monitoring and data detection. The energy consumption per 10,000 yuan of GDP is only 8.6 kg of standard coal.
