Yueyang Participates in 2021 Chongqing Western China International Logistics Expo
On October 13, the 2021 Chongqing Western China International Logistics Expo opened at Chongqing International Expo Center. A Yueyang delegation participated in the expo. It was led by Li Yongfeng, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Yueyang Municipal People¡¯s Congress, and headed by the Yueyang Municipal Logistics Development Service Center, and consisted of representatives from Yueyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Chenglingji New Port Area, Yueyang Transportation Bureau, Yueyang Municipal Port Office, Yueyang Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Yueyang Municipal Transportation, Investment, Industrial Park Construction and Management Company, Chenglingji Port Industrial Company, China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) Yueyang Smart Logistics Company, Sanhe Airport Company and other departments and enterprises.
The Yueyang Municipal Logistics Development Service Center has been attaching great importance to Yueyang¡¯s participation in the expo, arranged special personnel to communicate with the organizing committee before the event, coordinated relevant departments to make adequate preparations for it. These efforts aimed to promote the achievements of Yueyang logistics industry, demonstrate the overall business environment of Yueyang¡¯s logistics industry, and attract more businessmen to invest in Yueyang.
A 140-sqm exhibition hall was set up on the exhibition site. The exhibition hall was equipped with large exhibition boards and display screens playing promo video on investment attraction. These facilities showcased the basic conditions and preferential policies of Chenglingji New Port Area, Xujiaqiao Comprehensive Logistics Park, and Airport Economic Zone and presented the development advantages and construction achievements of Yueyang¡¯s logistics industry, in a bid to expand investment channels in logistics sector and lay a foundation for developing logistics industry.
During the 3-day expo, a variety of activities were scheduled to be held, including logistics cooperation forums, negotiation meetings, investment promotion conferences, field visits, and smart device exhibition. Yuxin¡¯ou (Chongqing) Logistics Company and Chengligji Port Industrial Company have reached a preliminary cooperation intention through negotiation.
