Xiangjiang New Area Xiangyin Region Accelerates Industrial Cluster Development

The Xiangjiang New Area Xiangyin region accelerates its industrial cluster development. On March 26, the second concentrated signing and commencement ceremony for industrial projects was held at the Xiangyin Hi-tech Zone, after the first session in last December. Thirteen projects were contracted this time, with a total investment of 11.69 billion CNY.

Ten of the 13 projects relate to advanced manufacturing industry, covering new energy, construction machinery, general aviation equipment, and building equipment. We will strive to boost project implementation, and assist in promoting high-quality development of the Xiangjiang New Aurea Xiangyin region, said contracting enterprise representatives – managers of the China Huaneng Group and the China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Co., Ltd.

The region was included in the Hunan New Area last October, as an important functional area in the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan integrated development plan, and also a key part of the regional cooperation belt in southern Yueyang. The Hunan Advanced Equipment Manufacturing (New Energy) Industrial Park which is based in the region has been included in Hunan’s provincial featured industrial parks. Yu Liangyong, secretary of the CPC Xiangyin County Committee, said that, the contracted and commenced projects, featuring high technology and great potential, conform to the layout of the county. They will surely inject strong impetus and vitality into Xiangyin regions’s development.
