Yueyang Issues Ten Measures to Promote Industrial Park High-quality Development
The Yueyang government has recently announced ten measures to promote high-quality development of its industrial parks. The measures are newly adjusted based on the previous ones released on December 2015. The move aims to foster new growth momentum and increase industrial agglomeration effect.
The ten measures give instructions on how to strengthen planning constraints, establish a new pattern of modern industries, highlight quality- and efficiency-based evaluation, build green parks, and promote industry-city integration. This will help change the extensive mode of economic development to a more orderly and scientific way. The measures clarify the development goals for park layout, leading industry development, strategic emerging industrial chain, and quality- and efficiency-based evaluation. Ten categories of practicable tasks are put forward to clearly define responsibilities.
Person in charge of the Yueyang Municipal Industrial Park Office said that innovations will be made in improving industrial park public service modes, mechanisms, and business environment, to promote infrastructure development and operation marketization. Efforts will be made to enhance de-administration in park management and employment mechanism marketization, and reform fiscal and taxation policies. These will help further release the vitality of industrial parks, and provide strong support for building Yueyang into a new growth pole for Hunan’s social and economic development, a national regional central city, and a large city.
