On November 20, Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan governor, inspected Yuyang¡¯s Pingjiang County, Yueyang County, and Yunxi District to give lectures on the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. He stressed studying and promoting the spirit of the session, and implementing the spirit of President Xi Jinping¡¯s speeches during his inspection in Hunan.

He called for making a good start and taking an entirely new look at the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan period; firmly following the decision of the session that ¡°establish Comrade Xi Jinping¡¯s core position on the Party Central Committee in the Party as a whole and define the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era¡±; and, resolutely upholding Comrade Xi Jinping¡¯s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and the Central Committee¡¯s authority and its centralized, unified leadership, in order to ensure the implementation of the spirit of the session.

Governor Mao inspects the Jinzai Food Co., Ltd.

In Pingjiang County, Governor Mao inspected the Jinzai Food Co., Ltd. He encouraged the enterprise to play its leading role, and enhance its capacity of product research and development, market exploration, quality supervision, and brand construction, to make it stronger. At the Founder Soonest Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., he stressed upholding the core role of innovation in modernization construction, making key technology breakthroughs, accelerating industrialization of sci-tech outcomes, and strive to win broader market.

When visiting the Pingjiang Uprising Memorial Hall, Governor Mao mentioned that 52 great generals who fought for the founding of the People¡¯s Republic of China were born in Pingjiang. He called for inheriting the revolutionary tradition, draw strength from the Party history to forge ahead, and motivate hard work and entrepreneurship based on the study and implementation of the spirit of the session.

Governor Mao observed the greenhouses for breeding at the Runsheng Rice Cooperatives and learnt about its cooperation mode. He stressed keeping in mind the original aspiration of serving the issues related to agriculture, rural areas, and rural people; leverage the localization advantages of the cooperatives, to set good examples and make promotions. He asked to focus on increasing production output and farmers¡¯ income; innovate rice seedling technology, service mode, and cooperation mechanism; enhance agricultural capital, machinery, and technology services, to improve anti-risk capacity and promote common prosperity for all.
At the Hunan Kelun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., he asked the managers to reinforce quality management, expand investment in research and development, and strive to elevate the core competitiveness of its products.


Governor Mao inspects the Yueyang Caprolactam (CPL) industrial chain relocation, upgrading, and extension project.

Yunxi District is an important petrochemical base in central China. Governor Mao visited the Sinopec catalyzer production base and the CPL project sites, to learn about project plans and progresses. He stressed that, led by the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, better fulfilling the political, economic, and social responsibilities of state-owned enterprises; working in line with international and industrial standards; ensuring safe production; selecting eligible projects for the industrial parks; and, doing good jobs in relocation, capacity expansion, quality improvement, and industrial chain extension. He required to increase efficiency at higher standards, and boost both industrial development and eco-environment protection.
