Secretary Wang Coordinates Major Industrial Projects Construction in Chenglingji New Port Area

On September 1, Wang Yi’ou, secretary of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee, went to Chenglingji New Port Area, to coordinate and promote major industrial projects construction through on-site working mode. Municipal leaders Li Zhi, Tan Zhenghong, Li Meiyun, Liu Xiaoying, and Liu Tiejian, and relevant department heads, attended.

In recent years, the industrial projects in Chenglingji New Port Area have transferred its investment promotion mode from “all-around” way to “precise” one. The management committee has paid more attention to project quality and efficiency and the building of an industrial ecology. From January to August this year, the area has signed 64 new projects such as Inovance, JD Logistics, and China Airlines Regional Headquarters. The total capital of the contracts reached 36.725 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50%. Currently, there are 32 newly-started and 18 newly-operated projects. A number of key projects are accelerating construction.

Secretary Wang presided over an on-site office meeting at the Chenglingji New Port Area. He listened to relevant reports, had in-depth exchanges with the heads of the area and municipal authorities, learned in detail about the difficulties and problems in project progress, and discussed solutions and measures.
