Yueyang Holds Conference to Convey, Study National “Two Sessions” Gist

On the morning of March 15, Yueyang held a conference to convey and study the spirit of the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) and the fourth session of the 13th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee.

Wang Yi’ou, CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee secretary and Yueyang Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee director, conveyed the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important speeches made during the national “Two Sessions”; the instructions made by central leaders Wang Qishan and Hu Chunhua when participating in the deliberations of Hunan delegation; and, the main spirit of studying national “Two Sessions” that Hunan government had conveyed. He asked to improve the political stance and unify thoughts and actions into the spirit of the national “Two Sessions”. We should keep the sprit in mind, take it as a guide to do a solid job of current work, and accelerate the “Three Districts and One Center” construction, he added.

Li Aiwu, CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee deputy secretary and Yueyang mayor, presided over the meeting. Chen Ailin, CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee deputy secretary, attended. Xu Xinchu, CPPCC Yueyang Municipal Committee chairman, and Xiang Weixiong, Yueyang Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee CPC Leadership Group secretary and executive deputy director, respectively conveyed the gist of the national “Two Sessions”. NPC deputies Liu Dehui, Yang Li, Chen Yongbiao, and Hu Chunlian were seated on the rostrum. All the municipal leaders participated.
