Secretary Wang Chairs Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone Yueyang Area Leading Group Meeting

The first working day after the Spring Festival fell on February 18, the seventh day of Chinese Lunar New Year. On that day, Wang Yiou, secretary of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee, visited Chenglingji New Port Area and presided over a meeting of the China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone Yueyang Area leading group and on promoting seven one-hundred-billion-yuan industries. He stressed following the “Three Highlands and Four New Missions” strategy, focusing on economic strength and industrial projects, and fulfilling responsibility of solving challenges, to promote Yueyang’s high-quality development and build the city into a provincial sub center.

Li Aiwu, deputy secretary of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee and mayor of Yueyang, municipal leaders including Chen Ailin, Li Zhi, Tan Zhenghong, Huang Junjun, Yang Kun, Chen Gehui, Liu Xiaoying, and Liu Chuanhan attended.

Heads of relevant departments made reports on the working procedures, tasks, industrial development plans of Yueyang Area, and the progress of the seven one-hundred-billion-yuan industries. Persons in charge of the Yueyang Economic Development Zone and the Chenglingji New Port Area spoke at the meeting.
