2020 China Yellow Tea Competition Award Ceremony Opens in Yueyang

The 2nd Yueyang Tea Industry Expo opens.

On September 2, the 2020 China Yellow Tea Competition Award Ceremony and the 2nd Yueyang Tea Industry Expo opened on the bank of Nanhu Lake. Wang Yiou, CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee secretary, announced the opening of the event. Wei Xuanjun, director of Hunan government’s Shanghai Office, addressed the opening ceremony. Liu Zhonghua, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of Hunan Agricultural University, promoted Yueyang yellow tea. Wang Qing, chairman of China Tea Marketing Association, made a speech. Yueyang municipal leaders Chen Ailin, Li Zhi, Tan Zhenghong, Zhao Yueping, Qiu Hong, and Fang Zhengqi, and old comrades including

Huang Jiaxi, Chen Zhigang, and Lai Sheguang attended.

The exhibition covers an area of 10,000 square meters, with a total of 242 booths. With the theme of "Famous Tea Tasting and Yellow Tea Charm", the expo will include the following activities:

--China Supply and Marketing Industry Standard Expert Review Meeting;

At the opening ceremony, the participating leaders and guests presented awards to China yellow tea competition winners, and awarded medals and certificates to Yueyang’s top ten famous tea enterprises. Li Zhi, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee and executive vice mayor delivered a welcome speech, and Vice Mayor Qiu Hong made a presentation on Yueyang yellow tea.
