Dongting Lake Ecological Environment Improves

The aerial photo, taken on August 10, shows magnificent view of Dongting Lake close to the Yueyang Tower. In recent years, Yueyang has enhanced efforts in pollution treatment, water and air quality improvement, sand excavation control, and fishing ban. The ecological environment of Dongting Lake has improved. Between this January and July, Yueyang has recorded good air quality on 94.4 percent days, increasing by 10 percentage points over last year.
