China-South Korea Joint Venture Intelligent Display Production Line Locates in Yueyang

On October 16, the launching ceremony of China-South Korea joint venture intelligent display production line was held in Chenglingji New Port Area. It marked that the project was officially settled down in the area. Li Aiwu, CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee deputy secretary and Yueyang mayor, announced the start of the project.

Xiong Wei, Yueyang Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee member and Yueyang Municipal United Frontier Department director, presided over the ceremony. Liu Xiaoying CPPCC Yueyang Municipal Committee vice chairman and Yueyang Municipal Development and Reform Commission director, and Liu Chuanhan, Yueyang Municipal People’s Government secretary general, KC-TOWN President Kwon Young-sig, and persons in charge of related companies attended.

Yueyang China-South Korea Intelligent Display Industrial Park is an intelligent display binding and intelligent manufacturing industry project jointly developed by Hunan Southern Sponge City Development Co., Ltd. and South Korea’s KC-TOWN Co., Ltd. With a total investment of 5 billion CNY, the industrial park will house a 60,000 to 80,000-sqm modern intelligent electronic factory which will be equipped with 34 high-end manufacturing production lines. Annual processing output value will exceed 5.7 billion CNY, and annual tax revenue will be about 500 million CNY. It will create 2,000 to 4,000 local jobs. The park will also drive the development of the upstream and downstream industry chains worth about 20 billion CNY.
