Yueyang Promotes Hydrogen Energy Industry in Dongguan

The Hunan Yueyang (Donguan) New Chemical Material -- Hydrogen Energy Industrial Promotion Conference was held in Dongguan on April 14, 2019. CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee Deputy Secretary and Mayor Li Aiwu, municipal leaders Xiong Wei, Qiu Hong, and Xie Chunsheng, and Secretary-general of the Yueyang Municipal People¡¯s Government Liu Chuanhan, were present.   

A signing ceremony was held at the conference. The Yueyang Municipal People¡¯s Government, and Yunxi District, Xiangyin County, and Miluo City governments respectively contracted with the China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE), Yueyang Baling Shihua Chemical & Synthetic Fiber Co., Ltd., Mapletree Group, Tianhe Science & Technology Co., Ltd. for 13 projects, including Yueyang Hydrogen Energy Town, modern service industrial park, and 5G cellphone screen. The total investment reaches an estimated 18.5 billion CNY. More than 200 new materials and hydrogen energy personnel and merchants from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area participated. 

Mayor Li marked that, Yueyang is the largest petrochemical industrial base in southcentral China. In line with the provincial scheme, Yueyang is striving to accelerate the industrial project progress, and facilitate the upgrades and development of petrochemical industry.

Li invited the new materials and hydrogen energy personnel and merchants in the Greater Bay Area to visit and invest in Yueyang, and support Yueyang¡¯s development as go-betweens. She said that Yueyang draws persistent attention on prioritizing, facilitating, and benefiting traders. The administrative reform on ¡°processing matters without the need for a second visit¡± are thoroughly implemented. A fair, open, honest, and expectable business environment is taking shape. These will benefit both sides of trade.

Li met and exchanged views on project cooperation with CFIE Secretary, Executive Vice Chairperson, and Secretary-general Xiong Meng that day.
