On August 19, several large, and medium-sized vessels are being constructed in Santang Town, Xiangyin County, Yueyang City. There are 7 shipbuilding enterprises accredited by the Hunan Provincial Commission for Science, Technology, and Industry in the county. They produce mostly dredging working vessels and self-discharging barges under ten thousand tons.
