Hunan Tourism Promotion & Dinner Party

Themed on "Splendid Xiaoxiang, Vast Dongting Lake, and Charming Xiangyin", a live-action art performances will be staged at 20:00, to present local tradition and customs. The shows include dances, talk show, sketches, Chinese folk music, and fireworks. State-of-the-art technologies, such as virtual reality (VR) and holographic projection will be adopted to display Hunan¡¯s rich tourist resources and provide the audience with a feast of Huxiang culture.
National, provincial and municipal leaders, experts, scholars, and travel agencies will meet to discuss waterfront tourism development in and around Dongting Lake. The forum aims to solicit advices on the scientific, effective, and innovative development of waterfront tourism.
International and domestic tourists will depart from Xiangyin to popular tourist attractions across Hunan, getting an idea of Hunan natural and culture landscapes through mountains, rivers, pavilions, islands, and ancient towns.
The Motorboat Invitational Tournament will be held at Yangsha Lake International Tourist Resort between September 21 and 26. Now more than 200 motorboat riders from 30 countries and regions along the ¡°Belt and Road¡± have applied for participation.
The competition is hosted by the Water Sports Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Chinese Motorboat Association, the Hunan Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Guangdong Yujinlong Investment Group.
Events such as Ski Open (JO), Runabout Limited 1 (RL1), Hydro-fly and Runabout StockClass 1 (RS1) will be held.
A variety of activities will be organized, including a beauty contest, a photography contest, South Dongting Lake Eco-tour, camping and tent music festival on Qingshan Island, and a beer festival.
The Yuezhou Kiln Culture and Art Festival & Celadon Ware Revitalization Seminar will be held at Yangsha Lake International Tourist Resort between September 26 and 30. Activities such as a kiln worship ceremony; lighting ceremony; kiln opening; and, Yuezhou Kiln celadon ware donation and auction will be held.
Famous ceramics experts and scholars from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong will meet to discuss how to revitalize the celadon ware.
