Miluo Completes New Solar-Aquaculture Complementary Project

The aerial photo taken on August 5, 2017 shows panels mounted on piles above the surface of the Hechao Lake, Panlongqiao Village, Miluo Town, Miluo City. It is a new model for solar-aquaculture complementary projects. The new power generation mode features PV modules installed above the lake, which provides shade for fish farming.

Such photovoltaic power station is the first of its kind in Miluo. With a total investment of 170 million yuan, it was connected to the grid this July. It is expected to generate about 2,400 KWh of electricity annually. (Photo/Xu Dianbo)
