NBS, NDRC Members Inspect Yueyang City

Mao Shengyong, chief economist of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), and Liu Xiaonan, director of the Department of Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), inspected Yueyang on July 5, 2021. Wang Yi’ou, secretary of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee; Li Aiwu, deputy secretary of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee and mayor of Yueyang City; Liu Xiaoying, vice chairwoman of the CPPCC Yueyang Municipal Committee and director of the Yueyang Municipal Development and Reform Commission; Wang Wenhua, secretary general of the Yueyang Municipal People’s Government; and, persons in charge of municipal departments, attended.

In the morning, Economist Mao, Director Liu, and their entourage came to the Ren Bishi Memorial Hall in Bishi Town, Miluo City. They presented flower baskets to the bronze statue of Ren Bishi, visited the memorial hall and the former residence. They paid tribute to the revolutionary martyrs and reviewed the original mission. The team then went to Hunan Construction Machinery Supporting Industrial Park for field inspection, and listened to reports on the industrial layout, infrastructure, and technological innovation.
