On July 1, a signing ceremony for industrial projects was held at the Yueyang Economic and Technological Development Zone. A total of 17 industrial projects including Yueyang Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing and Sensing Technology of Wuhan University and Shanghai Powerlong Urban Complex were signed on site, with a total investment of 32.8 billion yuan. Among them, 4 projects will invest more than 5 billion yuan each.

The projects mainly focus on science, technology, and innovation. They involve new materials, 5G interconnection, intelligent manufacturing, supply chain services and other fields. The projects have high quality, strong industrial connections, and good market prospects. The Shenzhen Guoshun Zhenhua 5G Ecological Digital Industry Base project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan is an industrial complex integrating emerging industries and future industries. A 5G ecological digital industrial base that integrates industry, R&D, commerce, office, and residence will be built. The industrial base provides five major product lines: new infrastructure, industrial Internet, smart industrial park, military-civilian integration, and in-depth digitalization. It is expected that enterprises will achieve an average annual turnover of 3 billion yuan within 5 years after they settle in the industrial base, and an average annual tax payment of more than 200 million yuan.

Wang YiĄŻou, secretary of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee, stated that departments at all levels adhere to the principle of "focusing on economic development and industrial projects", and provide quality service and create favorable environment for enterprise development and project construction.
