Mayor Li Promotes Yueyang’s Industrial Chain in Jiangsu and Zhejiang

On May 11 and 12, Li Aiwu, deputy secretary of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee and Yueyang mayor, led a delegation to Jiangsu’s Suzhou and Zhejiang’s Hangzhou, to attract investment in Yueyang’s industrial chain.Chen Gehui, Yueyang vice mayor, Wang Wenhua, nominator of the secretary general of the Yueyang Municipal People’s Government, and related department officials were the members.

Mayor Li visited the Infovision Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. (IVO) and the Inovance Group in Suzhou. She noted that the introduction of IVO’s TFT project will help strengthen Yueyang’s electronic information industrial cluster development, and asked related authorities to advance negotiation and collaboration in a bid to push forward the cooperative project in Yueyang. She invited Inovance managers to Yueyang, to learn about and negotiate about specific projects, and accelerate substantial cooperation.

In Hangzhou, she visited the Zheshang Development Group Co., Ltd., (ZSD), the Zhink Group, and the 59 Enterprise Management Service Co., Ltd.

When visiting the Pingjiang Road Historical Block in Suzhou and the Xiaohe Historical Street, she learnt about historical building protection, cultural exploration and project development, business direction, and investment attraction. She asked to learn from these experiences when carrying out protection and development of Yueyang’s Dongting South Road Historical Block. Work should be made to probe into history and culture, and accordingly conduct design based on historical elements, make reasonable business layout, and plan for business promotion and investment attraction in advance. These would help build a historical site which is history-based, memorable, and attractive for tourists, and can improve the livelihood of the residents.
