Yueyang¡¯s first makeshift COVID-19 vaccination site, located inside the Nanhu Avenue Stadium, opened on March 28, 2021. There are 10 vaccination booths and more than 80 staff serving at the site, which can satisfy a daily capacity of 3,000 shots.

Posters on related vaccination knowledge and procedures were set up outside the stadium. People are asked to show health codes at the pre-examination triage counter, and receive temperature measurement before entering the site. Several functional zones are arranged with clear signs, including zones for pre-examination, waiting, inquiry and notification, registration, vaccination, observation, emergency treatment, and refrigeration. People will be guided by medical staff throughout the process from inquiry to completing vaccination, taking not more than 10 minutes on average.

In order to ease the pressure of community-level hospitals, the makeshift site opens between 8:00 and 22:00 until May 30.

A medical team of senior doctors is on standby at the site to give timely diagnosis and treatment to abnormal reactions to vaccination, and guarantee a smooth green channel of medical treatment.

Yueyang Vice Mayor Li Wei inspects vaccination work at the site.
