Yueyang Government Launches “Internet Plus Intelligent Education” Project

Yueyang No. 14 Middle School teacher training class adopting the Yueyang “Internet Plus Intelligent Education” teaching mode opened on March 22, 2021. Relevant education experts at Beijing No. 4 Online Middle School shared the “Teaching and Learning in the Context of the Information Age”, “Information Technology Helps Dual Teachers Class”, and other “Internet Plus Intelligent Education” courses. Nearly 100 teachers from the Yueyang No. 14 Middle School participated in the training. This marked the formal implementation of the “Internet Plus Intelligent Education” project in Yueyang City.

Intelligent Education is an important part of smart city construction, and also a major livelihood project. The CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee and the People’s Government of Yueyang City have attached great importance to it. Before the Spring Festival, Wang Yi’ou, CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee secretary, arranged and requested to accelerate intelligent education project construction. The Yueyang Municipal Smart City Construction Office and the Yueyang Municipal Education and Sports Bureau responded quickly. They went to the Beijing No. 4 Online Middle School for a field inspection. After several rounds of discussion, they reached a cooperation agreement on the introduction of Beijing No. 4 High-quality educational resources, and completed the signing before the Spring Festival.
