Sci-Tech Innovation Boosts Linxiang Buoy Industry Development

In spring, fishing buoy products have entered the peak season for production and sales. Technological innovation is promoting the robust development of the traditional industry of buoy manufacturing in Linxiang City.

Linxiang buoy manufacturers actively tried various new raw materials and successively introduced nano polymer and carbon fiber materials to pursue the differentiation of buoy products. They invented the electronic luminous buoy to satisfy fishing amateurs¡¯ all-time needs; developed the smart buoy that automatically alarms on a mobile phone through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections to enable users to fish easily; and, created the gravity-sensing color-changing buoy to reduce visual fatigue. They have successfully developed a complete set of fully automatic processing equipment to reduce labor costs. The Linxiang buoy industry has received more than 520 various patents, and 8 companies have participated in the compilation of the buoy industry standards of the China National Light Industry Council.

Linxiang government established a buoy industry center to escort buoy companies, focusing on encouraging technological innovation and protecting intellectual property rights. The city's market supervision, public security, and other departments jointly carry out special anti-counterfeiting operations in the buoy industry every year. The Linxiang Municipal People's Court implements ¡°priority filing, quick trial, and prompt settlement¡± principles for infringement cases in the buoy industry.

Innovation has led to the rapid development of the buoy industry. Linxiang City now has formed a complete buoy industry chain and became a veritable ¡°Hometown of Chinese Buoys¡±. There are more than 1,000 industry market entities in the city, with more than 30,000 employees and a total annual output value of over 3 billion yuan. The Linxiang-made buoy products have accounted for more than 80% of the domestic market share.
