Yueyang Harbor Hi-tech Industrialization Base for Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Approved as National Hi-tech Zone
The Yueyang Harbor Hi-tech Industrialization Base for Advanced Equipment Manufacturing, located in the Chenglingji Harbor Industrial New Area, was approved as national hi-tech industrialization zone, announced by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology on October 13.
A national hi-tech industrialization base and also a national sci-tech business incubator are necessary for a region or an industrial park to be approved as a national hit-tech zone. The Yueyang Harbor Hi-tech Industrialization Base for Advanced Equipment Manufacturing and the Chenglingji Harbor Industrial New Area¡¯s Sci-tech Entrepreneurship Service Center (a national business incubator), have laid a foundation for the approval of the national hi-tech zone. The enterprises in the national hi-tech zone will benefit from financial and tax policy support, and step up hi-tech project industrialization with burden eased.
