New Train Operation Chart Facilitates Trips to Changsha, Yueyang

The national railways have implemented the fourth quarter train operation chart since 0:00 on October 11, 2020. According to the new operation chart, some of the lines managed by the Changsha South Railway Station are adjusted; and, trips between Changsha South, and Yueyang stations increased. Passengers will have more travel options to Hunan.

Three pairs of passenger trains have been added to the train operation chart in the fourth quarter, all of which are under the management of the Changsha South Railway Station. They are Humen (Guangzhou South)-Yueyang East G6028/G6133, Shenzhen North-Changsha South G6134/G6031, and Shenzhen North (Guangzhou South)-Changsha South G6050/49. The Guangzhou South (Huidong)-Yueyang East G9640-G9641/4 round trip has been newly added.

Meanwhile, it was learned from the Zhangjiajie Depot of the Northwest Hunan Railway that, there are 16.5 pairs of regular-speed passenger trains running daily, at weekends, and during peak periods at Mayang, Jishou, Zhangjiajie, Cili, Shimen County North, and Lixian stations on the Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway. There are 14 pairs of regular-speed trains and 9 pairs of intercity trains at Shimen County North Station on the Shimen-Changsha Railway (intersecting with the Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway). The Xianfeng, Laifeng, Longshan North, Sangzhi, Zhangjiajie West, Niuchehe, and Taoyuan Stations on the Qianjiang-Changde Railway operate 9 pairs of regular-speed trains, 21 pairs of intercity trains, and 1 pair of EMU trains. This will provide sufficient transportation capacity for the comprehensive construction of a well-off society in northwestern Hunan.

In addition, after this adjustment, the Guangzhou Railway Group will also add 7 cross-border freight trains, bringing the total number of cross-border freight trains to 49.
