12 YETDZ Projects Signed

The industrial projects signing ceremony was held in Yueyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (YETDZ) on September 21, 2020. Twelve industrial projects were signed together with a total investment of 11 billion yuan. Wang Yiou, CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee secretary witnessed the signing and gave a speech. Hu Jianxin, CPC Yueyang Municipal Standing Committee member, Yueyang United Front Department director, and YETDZ Working Committee first secretary, delivered a speech. Municipal leaders Tan Zhenghong and Liu Xiaoying, and YETDZ leaders Wen Chunfang and Xie Chunsheng, attended the ceremony.

Industry is the foundation of industrial park while the park is the carrier of the industry. The CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee plenary meeting held not long ago clearly stated that, Yueyang will take the lead in terms of GDP in the provincial second phalanx, to exceed 400 billion yuan this year and to achieve 500 billion yuan by 2023. The city has accelerated 7 hundred-billion-yuan industries and “12 plus 1” advantageous industrial chain construction, forming a good momentum. YETDZ is a national-level 100 billion industrial park. The 12 industrial projects signed this time were in the “12 plus 1” industrial chains, including biomedicine, magnetic equipment, energy saving and environmental protection, and petrochemical equipment. Among them, Tencent and Sinopharm Group are among the world’s top 500 enterprises; the aluminum alloy materials tax revenue exceeds 60 million yuan; and, the surface light source project tax revenue exceeds 30 million yuan. The Sinopharm Group invested about 6 billion yuan to build a medical device production base. Upon operation, the output value will exceed 8 billion yuan and the tax revenue 300 million yuan.
