Yueyang Contracts 2 Projects at First Day of 2020 Hunan-Yangtze River Delta Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Week
The Hunan Investment Environment and Key Industry Promotion, a major activity of the 2020 Hunan-Yangtze River Delta Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Week, was launched in Changsha on June 29. Two projects worth 1.8 billion yuan was contracted on ¡°cloud¡±.
Yueyang expects to reach 32 contracts during the promotion week, with a total investment of 25.347 billion yuan. The investment will cover electronic information, trade and logistics, modern manufacturing, industrial internet, electricity, and energy.
The promotion week is an important provincial economic and trade event supported by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial Government. It is an important platform to leverage Hunan¡¯s favorable location on the transitional ¡°belt¡± connecting the eastern coastal area with the central and western areas, and in the junction ¡°zone¡± between the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Coastal Economic Belt; and, grasp the opportunities of stratified relocation of industries and development of central and western provinces. Yueyang will participate in, or host, four economic and trade activities.
The two contracted projects are:
An electronic manufacturing project, worth 1 billion yuan, undertaken by the Linxiang Industrial Park Management Committee, focusing on R&D, manufacturing and sale of integrated circuit, electronic equipment, AI, intelligent confidential cabinet, figure vein coded lock, and confidential security and protection products; and,
A communication equipment manufacturing project, worth 800 million yuan, undertaken by the Yueyang Hi-tech Industrial Park Management Committee, focusing on aluminum product production and processing, and 5G antenna production.
