Yueyang Launches Environmental Protection Public Open Day
On June 2, the Yueyanglou District Office of the Yueyang Bureau of Ecology and Environment held a public open day at Nanjinggang Sewage Disposal Plant. Persons in charge of the Yueyang Municipal People¡¯s Government, Yueyang Municipal People¡¯s Congress Standing Committee, and Yueyang Bureau of Ecology and Environment, as well as workers in the 16 community-level environmental protection stations across the district, volunteers, and resident representatives, observed sewage cleaning process at the site.
Yueyang has implemented the CPC Central Committee¡¯s decision and deployment on innovating environmental improvement system this year. Such public open day events will be held regularly to increase public awareness of and participation in environmental protection.
