495 Inbound Travelers Tested Negative for COVID-19
People feel much eased as all COVID-19 patients had been discharged from hospitals in Yueyang. However, it is still in a critical stage to prevent imports of infections amid the spreading of COVID-19 worldwide.
The foreign affairs working team of the Yueyang Public Health Emergency Command announced that, 12 personnel from Yueyang¡¯s foreign affairs division, health commission, public security, transportation, border inspection, and customs were designated to the Changsha Huanghua International Airport on March 18. They would be engaged in epidemic prevention and control and transferring of inbound travelers.
As of 12:00 of March 18, Yueyang had 549 inbound travelers, among whom 456 are under medical observation while 93 others had been discharged. A total of 459 inbound travelers received nucleic acid testing and all results were negative.
