Archaeological Discoveries at Pingjiang Dahuping Site

cHunan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and Pingjiang Cultural Relics Management Office began to excavate the Dahuping site this August. At present, the ruins of Fushou Temple in Song, Yuan, and Ming dynasties, the remains of cottages in the early Qing Dynasty, and the remains of papermaking and houses in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China have been excavated. Stone carving statues, carved stone components, plinths, and a number of ceramic ware of different times have been unearthed. These findings are of great historical, artistic and cultural value to study the economic and social development of Song, Yuan, and Qing dynasties.
