HIT Robot Innovation Center Project Starts in Yueyang

On November 26, 2019, the ground-breaking ceremony of HIT Robot (Yueyang) Innovation Center Project was held at HIT Robot (Yueyang) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in Chenglingji New Port Area.

The HIT Robot (Yueyang) Industrial Investment and Financing Match-making Conference and the 2019 HIT Robot Group Entrepreneurship Competition were held simultaneously.

Exports and enterprise representatives from all over the country participated and discussed project cooperation and business incubation.

The HIT Robot (Yueyang) Innovation Center Project covers an area of about 60,000 square meters. It will house factories for R&D, experiment, and production within an area of about 88,000 square meters. The project is Yueyang’s benchmarking one which plays a leading role in innovation and entrepreneurship in Chenglingji New Port Area. On completion, the project will integrate R&D, production, and marketing, which can promote the coordinated development of "industry, research, research, and finance" and will be built into an industrial cluster of "robot + intelligent manufacturing + commercial aerospace". The innovation center will focus on robot automation, intelligent manufacturing, and commercial aerospace. It will play a positive role in industrial development and talent support in the area.

Wang Meng, president of HIT Robot Group, said that the center strives to gather 300 top talents in the sector in 5 years, apply 500 core patents, incubate 50 companies with core competitiveness, cultivate more than 3 domestic listed companies, and drive the development of related industries and boost their operating income to reach 10 billion CNY.
