Chenglingji Port Container Throughput Hit 421,200 TEUs in First Ten Months

The Yueyang Municipal Government Port Administrative Office announced on November 20 that in the first ten months, container throughput at Chenglingji Port saw a 0.65% growth year on year, reaching 421,200 Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs). Of the total, 6,683 were imported vehicles, up 231.50%.

This year, Yueyang has fully integrated into the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and cooperated with the Yangtze River Delta region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Efforts have been made to simplify customs clearance procedures, promote open economy, facilitate direct shipment from Chengling Port to Hong Kong and Macao, further explore new container growth points, and keep port economy growing.
