Nine Hunan Villages Honored as China’s Beautiful Leisure Villages

On November 13, the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced the list of beautiful leisure villages in 2019. A total of 260 villages across the country were selected, 9 of which were from Hunan.

The nine Hunan villages included:
Xunlonghe Village, Guoyuan Town, Changsha City;
Shaoshan Village, Shaoshan Township, Xiangtan City;
Shazhou Village, Rucheng County, Chenzhou City;
Meichi Village, Yanglousi Town, Yueyang City;
Xiangshui Village, Tianyuan District, Zhuzhou City;
Xiangshui Village, Tianyuan District, Zhuzhou City;
Baima Village, Hecheng District, Huaihua City;
Ziwei Village, Ziyang District, Yiyang City;
Tongzi’ao Village, Shuangpai County, Yongzhou City; and,
Tangjiashan Village, Taoyuan County, Changde City.
