Charity Project Giving-out Ceremony Kicks off in Yueyang
A charity project giving-out ceremony and the seminar on English education informatization application were held at Yueyang No. 10 Middle School on September 23, 2019. They were instructed by the China Youth Development Foundation, the Hunan Provincial Communist Youth League (CYL) Committee, and the China Educational Technology Association; and organized by the Yueyang Education and Sports Bureau and the CYL Yueyang Municipal Committee. Li Wei, Yueyang vice mayor, attended and delivered a speech.
At the ceremony, four charitable enterprises from Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, and Yueyang cities gave donations to Pingjiang County. The total value of the donated hardware and software equipment was about 6.79 million CNY, which was used for information technology improvement. After the donation ceremony, the English education informatization application seminar was held. The research and analysis of English education informatization application was carried out to achieve further improvement.
Vice Mayor Li said the charity project was an innovative public welfare activity in the ˇ°Internet plus Educationˇ± era. It aimed to promote teachers' teaching mode transformation through the improvement of their information literacy.
