World Computer Congress to Open in Hunan

The World Computer Congress 2019 will be held in Changsha between September 9 and 11. It is hosted by the Hunan Provincial People’s Government and the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Guest invitations, participator applications, and reception arrangements are in full swing.

The Congress aims to promote a sound and rapid development of China’s IT industry. Chinese and foreign experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs will discuss the IT industry’s ecology, future development, network security, human-machine connections, AI algorithm, and state-of-the-art computation mode.

The organizing committee chairperson announced that, the Congress will have an opening ceremony, a main forum, nine sub-forums, and an IT innovative technology and product application achievements exhibition. There will be seventy-nine keynote speakers including senior managers of more than 30 Chinese companies, such as Huawei, Lenovo, and the China Electronics Corporation (CEC), and, nearly 20 foreign companies such as IBM, Microsoft, and SAP; 12 Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) and Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) academicians, including Yang Xuejun, Li Guojie, and Ni Guangnan; and, Finn E. Kydland and dozens of other foreign experts. More than 90 companies will exhibit.

Based on Hunan’s superior and featured industries, an industrial cooperation meeting will be held, in a bid to achieve a cluster effect of IT industry in Hunan.
