Baling Opera to Be Staged in Romania
The Baling Opera Inheritance Research Institution recently announced that, at the invitation of Bistrita of Romania, the institution will send a performance troupe to participate in the 18th International Folklore Festival in Romania between August 13 and 16, 2019.
The institution has spent more than two months to prepare three performances for the event ¨CBaling Opera highlights ¡°San Cha Kou (crossroad)¡±, folk dance ¡°Huayao Village¡±, and musical instrument show ¡°Fern-leaf Hedge Bamboo under the Moonlight ¡±. This overseas performance will promote Chinese traditional arts to the world, and enhance cultural and art exchanges between China and Romania, so as to learn from each other, intensify mutual friendship, and promote world cultural prosperity and development.
