Chinese Central Media Reports Hunan¡¯s Achievements
Recently, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee launched serial programs to present China¡¯s development achievements, and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People¡¯s Republic of China. Its Hunan Chapter started live telecast.
On July 26, the Xinhua News Agency released an article (about 2,500 Chinese characters) to cover Hunan¡¯s great changes over the past 70 years.
On July 27, CCTV-13, or CCTV News Channel and China National Radio (CRN)¡¯s ¡°The Voice of China¡± produced 49-minute and 60-minute programs respectively to broadcast Hunan¡¯s landscapes and achievements.
On July 29, the People¡¯s Daily reported Hunan on 6 full pages, Guangming Daily on 2 full pages and a front page, Economic Daily on 2 full pages, Science and Technology Daily on 3 front pages, China Youth Daily on a front page, and China News Service covered Hunan from a novel perspective.
Their coverage mainly featured Hunanese pioneering spirit, revolutionary traditions, innovation and opening-up efforts, and remarkable achievements on high-quality and leap-forward development.
These inspiring stories and magnificent achievements have greatly encouraged Hunan people and consolidated their confidence and determination in Hunan¡¯s greater advances.
