“Yueyang Memory” Archives Exhibition Opens

A large archives exhibition with the theme of “Yueyang Memory” opened on June 4, 2019. It has so far attracted nearly 1,000 visitors. 

The exhibition is the largest in scale, most modernized in technology, and richest in content since 1980, organized by the Yueyang City Archives. It utilized Chinese characters, images, videos, physical models, and high technologies to display Yueyang’s changes during the long period from 200,000 years ago until the establishment of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, and the development during the 40-year reform and opening up. “The distinctive charm of archives are shown in the pictures, exhibits, and videos”, said an audience.

The exhibition will open to the public freely for ten years.
