69 Hunan Professionals Receive Special Government Allowances for 2018
The Hunan Human Resources and Social Security Department (HHRSSD) announced on February 12 that, there were 64 professional and technical personnel and 5 high-skilled talents from Hunan’s universities, research institutions, and enterprises granted special government allowances from the State Council for the year of 2018.
The special government allowance is an incentive system for the high-level professional and technical personnel, and high-skilled talents. It shows Chinese central government and the State Council’s concerns for talented professionals, and a significant effort to build a team of high-level talented personnel.
An official in the HHRSSD marked that, related departments and institutions should carry out measures to encourage and support the special government allowance winners to play positive roles in sci-tech innovation, research result commercialization, human resource development, and policy-making consulting.
Each of the winners would receive an expert certificate, and 20,000 CNY of the special government allowance, which is disbursed from the central finance, and exempted from individual income tax.
