60,000 Exit and Entry Trips Made in Hunan During Spring Festival Holiday

On February 11, the Hunan General Station of Immigration Inspection announced that 60,000 exit and entry passenger trips were made during the Spring Festival holiday, an increase of 0.7% over the previous year.

With the popularization of Spring Festival outbound tours, inbound and outbound trips at Hunan's airports increased, and international inspection halls staff were busier than usual. The exit and entry passenger volume peaked on February 8, with a daily trips of 10,000. More tourists chose Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia as their tourist destinations, as these countries have warm weather and comfortable climate.

Changsha Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection Station staff introduced that the station set up a special channel for Chinese citizens to ensure that they would wait for no more than 30 minutes for customs clearance. Eight self-service entry channels have been opened at entry-exit ports, and four self-service exit channels added. Eligible passengers can complete customs clearance within 15 seconds.

Zhangjiajie attracted a large number of South Korean tourists during the holiday. To ensure safe and smooth customs clearance, Zhangjiajie Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection Station provided considerate services for the foreign passengers, including assisting them in filling in the foreigner entry frontier registration card and submitting a valid visa. As of 24:00 on February 10, nearly 5,000 foreign passengers entered and exited through Zhangjiajie.
