Yueyang Enterprises Yield Abundant Fruits at CIIE
From November 5th to 10th, the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai. As of November 10, Yueyang¡¯s 10 companies including Hengsheng Cold Chain, Shida Textile, Jiuding Technology, and Kangfulai Medicine have successfully signed contracts at CIIE. Yueyang Trading Group was sent in response to the unified arrangement of Hunan Province. It was led by Xiong Wei, CPC Yueyang Municipal Standing Committee member and United Front Work Department director; and Vice Mayor Qiu Hong.
Attending the event are 172 countries, regions and international organizations, more than 3,600 companies with a total exhibition area of 300,000 square meters, and more than 400,000 Chinese and foreign buyers who are here to explore business deals. There were 11 municipal departments directly under the city and 133 enterprises from all counties and cities participating in this year¡¯s CIIE. They took part in various investment and trade negotiations and other activities at the expo. Representative enterprises also participated in the on-site negotiation in the exhibition hall, and also took the initiative to participate in special matchmaking activities with the United Kingdom, Romania, Poland and other countries to fully explore business opportunities. Fruitful results have been achieved.
