Yueyang Makes Progress in Promoting Major Sci-tech Innovation Projects
Recently, the Science and Technology Bureau of Yueyang City announced that since the launch of major scientific and technological innovation projects at the end of last year, 7 Yueyang projects have been included into 100 major scientific and technological innovation projects of Hunan Province.
The Bureau selected these projects according to the arrangements of ¡°the Year of Industrial Projects Construction¡± by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the People¡¯s Government of Hunan Province, and the requirements by the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee and the People¡¯s Government of Yueyang City.
At present, six of the seven projects completed a total investment of 306 million CNY, including 46 million CNY for R&D investment. Twenty patent applications (software copyrights) were made, 9 papers finished. These projects generated sales revenue of 1.474 billion CNY and tax revenue of 112 million CNY, creating 1,046 jobs.
This helps the city have tackled key common technologies in industries, developed a number of high-tech products, cultivated high-tech enterprises, and further improved its scientific and technological innovation ability to underpin the development of the real economy.
