Recently, the Hunan Province Administration for Industry & Commerce announced the development of Hunan advertising industry from January to May this year. During this period, Hunan advertising revenue maintained sustainable growth and ranked seventh nationwide. It is expected that by the end of this year, market entities engaging in advertising will exceed 70,000 in Hunan, with advertising revenue exceeding 30 billion CNY.

Hunan¡¯s advertising industry has developed rapidly thanks to the development of advertising industrial parks and bases. Currently, the ¡°one core area, three industrial parks, and five bases¡± pattern has been formed in advertising industry; there are more than 20 listed companies in the province with advertising as main business or sideline business; 15 advertising companies have obtained Chinese first-level advertising company qualification; and, 68 advertising companies Chinese second-level advertising company qualification. As of the end of 2017, Hunan has 66,211 advertising business entities, whose advertising revenue together amounted to 28.429 billion CNY.

This year, Hunan has adopted dynamic management models for provincial-level advertising industrial parks and bases, intensified guidance and support for the Changsha National Advertising Industrial Park, supported the establishment of the Huaihua National Advertising Industrial Park, and construction of provincial advertising industrial parks in Changde and Yueyang. Efforts have been encouraged to give full play to the exemplary and leading role of parks and bases, and to actively create a "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" platform for the advertising industry. It is hoped that by the end of this year, Hunan will strive to build more than five advertising industry innovation demonstration bases, research and development bases, and startup incubators. The advertising business entities and advertising revenue will achieve an increase of 10% respectively.
