Hunan Government Holds 2018 Spring Festival Gathering

The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People's Government held the 2018 Spring Festival gathering in Changsha on February 12, to extend New Year greetings to all the Hunanese. CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Secretary and Hunan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee Director Du Jiahao delivered a speech, and CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Deputy Secretary and Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe presided over the gathering.

Secretary Du, on behalf of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the Hunan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, the Hunan Provincial People's Government, the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, and the Hunan Provincial Military Area Command, conveyed wishes and Spring Festival greetings to all the workers, farmers, intellectuals, cadres, and retired comrades; to non-Communist democratic parties, members of industrial and commerce unions, and people's organizations; to the military officials stationed in Hunan, and armed police officers and politics; and, to the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan compatriots, overseas Chinese, and international and domestic friends, who concern and support Hunan's reform and development. He wished everyone a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.
