New Hunan Provincial Leaders Elected

The third plenary meeting of the First Session of the 13th Hunan Provincial People's Congress was held on the afternoon of Jan. 28, 2018. Director and deputy directors of the 13th Hunan Provincial People's Congress; Hunan governor and vice governors; director of the CPC Hunan Provincial Supervisory Committee; president of the Higher People's Court of Hunan Province; and, president of the People's Procuratorate of Hunan Province were elected at the meeting.

Du Jiahao was elected director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress; and Xu Dazhe, governor of Hunan Provincial People's Government.

Deputy directors of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress: Liu Lianyu, Yang Weigang, Wang Kemin, Xiang Lili; Ye Hongzhuan, and Zhou Nong;

Vice governors of Hunan Provincial People's Government: Chen Xiangqun, He Baoxiang, Sui Zhongcheng, Chen Fei, Wu Guiying, Xu Xianhui, and Chen Wenhao;

Director of the CPC Hunan Provincial Supervisory Committee: Fu Kui;

President of the Higher People's Court of Hunan Province: Tian Liwen.

In accordance with the law, the newly-elected president of the People's Procuratorate of Hunan Province should be approved by the National People's Congress.
