CPC Central Committee Lecture Group Promotes 19th CPC National Congress Highlights in Hunan
The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Lecture Group conveyed the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress at the People's Hall of Hunan Province on 6 November 2017. The report was made by Jiang Wei, Lecture Group member, and Supreme People's Court CPC Party Leadership Group member, and vice president, Jiang Wei. CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Secretary and Hunan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee Director, Du Jiahao, chaired the meeting and delivered a speech. CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Deputy Secretary and Hunan Governor, Xu Dazhe and CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee Chairwoman Li Weiwei attended.
Jiang, combining his personal experience in drafting the 19th CPC National Congress with daily learning and thinking, gave comprehensive and systematic explanation on the connotation and spiritual essence of the congress.
More than 1600 representatives heard the report, including Hunan provincial departments leaders, Hunan central divisions, Changsha municipal departments, provincial enterprises, and Changsha colleges and universities; teachers and students from colleges and universities, provincial party school students, People's Liberation Army and armed police officers representatives; and provincial and municipal lecture group members.
In the afternoon, Jiang went to Huanglong Village in Huanghua Town, Changsha County to discuss with grassroots party-member cadres and masses how to study and implement the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.
